“Prayers for the Earth 8: Belly”

 It really was one of my favorites in the show.  It [goes] beyond  "look, mom, I'm using encaustic"  and simply seemed to rejoice in a material that allowed you to do what you needed to do in exploring your artistic vocabulary.    I liked that it risked appearing simple-minded, repetitive,and  understated.  Saying less it said so much more.
